The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA-Ghana) was born in very difficult circumstances. Founded in 1989 as Ghana’s first public policy Institute, The I.E.A seeks to broaden the debate on public policy, engender private sector-led economic growth and strengthen the pillars of democracy. Over the years, The IEA has served as a centre for policy analysis and public education; a forum for the exchange of ideas and a resource centre for public education.
